Wellspring, one of the LifePlus International Schools in Ras Al Khaimah, in cooperation with Quest for Excellence, a company specializing in the education sector in Silicon Valley in the United States of America, and working with NASA, announced the launch of the first educational program for space science in the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East and North Africa.
The unique program aims to teach students various disciplines of space science, including computer programming, engineering principles and fundamentals, in addition to providing them with skills to plan and implement practical science projects in the field. , as well as many related topics.
In preparation for the official launch of the program in the next school year, the school held a workshop to introduce students to the importance of the program, presented by Kim Danny, entrepreneur and CEO of Quest for Excellence, member of the advisory board pedagogic. at the National Laboratory of the International Space Station. During the workshop, the students were able to send encrypted codes to the robot of the company “Bemo”, which is on board the International Space Station, and the robot displayed the images and messages of the students.
