The demolition of minority houses in Prayagraj is totally illegal

Why does the state need to crush some innocent people? Perhaps to set an example to show that any violation, however imagined, cannot be taken without reasserting limitless power and creating fear. Bulldozer, a huge faceless machine that can run nonstop, turning people’s settlements into rubble has its own meaning that makes everything else meaningless.

Javed Muhammad, a local Welfare Party of India leader, was jailed. He was easy prey, he had all the merits for that. A propagator of peace, he considered the law passed in 1991 by Parliament, in the context of the unrest caused by the Babri masjid-Ram Janmabhumi controversy, that no place of worship should be interfered with, to be an apostle of love. and homogeneity between peoples. communities. But soon came December 6, 1992, when the Babri Mosque was turned into rubble, and not by a bulldozer because its versatile merits had not yet been discovered, it was the simple and brutal force of human hands drunk with power that the magnificent dome was touching in minutes. floor. Guru Golwalkar’s dream project has been realized by his followers. Guruji had wanted minorities to be deprived of their citizenship rights. It was the central theme of his book, “We or our Nationhood Defined”, in which Golwalkar came out without qualms when he compared Sangh’s Hindu Rashtra project to Adolf Hitler’s anti-Semitism which contained assimilation total or ethnic subjugation of minorities.

“To maintain the purity of race and culture, Germany shocked the world by purging the country of the Semitic races – the Jews,” Golwalkar wrote in his 1939 book. point it is almost impossible for races and cultures, having differences down to the root, to be assimilated into a unified whole, a good lesson for us as Hindus [India] to learn and benefit from.

With the Nazi experiment in the purification of Jews in mind, Golwalkar – having declared non-Hindus to be alien races – prescribed a similar solution to the minority problem in India. “From this point of view, sanctioned by the experience of the old shrewd nations, the foreign races of Hinduism must either adopt the Hindu culture and language, learn to respect and revere the Hindu religion, have no other idea than those of the glorification of the Hindu religion. Hindu race and culture, i.e. of the Hindu nation and must lose their existence to merge with the Hindu race, or can remain in the country, entirely subordinate to the Hindu nation, claiming nothing, deserving no privilege, let alone any preferential treatment – not even the rights of citizens,” he wrote.

Later, Golwalkar and his organization distanced themselves from the book. But the separation, it seems, had been contrived, and the RSS patiently continued to work on the book’s socio-political project.

The developments at Prayagraj are an example of this. On June 10, after the prayers, protests were held in Prayagraj which were also staged in other parts of the state against former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma over her remarks on the Prophet Muhammad. On June 12, the two-storey house of Parween Fatima, Javed’s wife, was bulldozed and she petitioned the Allahabad High Court against the Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA). Shopkeepers in the surrounding area began to move their stores as they feared the demolition wave.

But Bulldozer doesn’t stop there. Once unveiled, everything turns into a horror shot. Prices increase. Even the essentials are beyond the reach of the masses. Unemployment is another horror, followed by hunger. Migration has become a general rule which adds further deprivation. The drama of living in such conditions of scarcity haunts sections that are growing every day. Poverty haunts all communities, this is now our new unity in multiplicity, a gift from the saffron rule. But there is also another side of the coin.

Our billionaires continue to grow their wealth in unprecedented ways, which is rare even in the global economy. The recession has taken center stage at its worst, while billionaires have gotten richer even during the COVID-19 lockdown period. All national resources are taken care of by Finance Capital with the help of the central government. The Constitution was a restraining authority, but there are attempts to rewrite it. There is no debate in Parliament. Democratic values are in danger. Disagreement has no space.

Rural problems are not recognized. The winter session of Parliament could not take place under the pretext of the coronavirus epidemic. There are no agrarian policies, and the proposed reforms are formulated in such a way that farmers are unable to swallow them. Food security is ruined. The very life of the rural population is on the brink of destruction. Small marginal farmers are perishing. Meanwhile, the government is busy formulating its market policy and the corporatization of agriculture. Large companies are preparing to take over the agricultural sector.

The process of decentralization is not unforeseen and at each stage, it is the reactionary policies which make the law. Powers are wrested from the hands of the state. None of these initiatives is unforeseen. The goal is to establish Brahmanic dominance, opening up every opportunity for the upper caste to consolidate. In fact, Hindutva was invented to serve the monopolies, that is, as an economic scheme to misrule India and lead it in a disastrous direction. (API Service)
