Republican Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker has secret second son: report

Herschel Walker, the University of Georgia football star turned Republican politician who has spent his campaign exposing deadbeat fathers, has not one but two sons he has never disclosed.

Days after the former NFL running back admitted he had a secret 10-year-old son, the Daily Beast reported on a second 13-year-old son who had also been hidden from headlines and voters. Walker, 60, also confessed to a now grown daughter he had when he was around 20 and at UGA.

“I have four children. Three sons and a daughter. They are not ‘undisclosed’ – they are my children,” Walker said in a statement Thursday.

“I support them all and love them all…I just chose not to use them as props to win a political campaign. What parent would want their child involved in trash, gutter politics like this- this ? “

Only Walker’s 22-year-old son Christian has earned his father’s public approval as a member of the family.

While family members are supposedly banned from political campaigns, Walker has spent years criticizing absent parents, especially in the black community.

“I want to apologize to the African-American community because the fatherless household is a major issue,” he said in a September 2020 interview on the Charlie Kirk Podcast.

A year earlier, he told Diamond and Silk that men should become “fathers to these fatherless children.”

Most of Walker’s other campaign claims have been called into question, including his work as an FBI agent and the fact that he is a college graduate.

Walker is set to face incumbent Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock in November’s general election.
