Police investigating fight in Tarneit

Up to 20 people may have been involved in a fight which took place in Tarneit on Wednesday, February 9, allegedly including a teenager from Fraser Rise.

In a statement, Victoria Police said they arrived to find “a group of highly agitated people” at a Knightsbridge Drive address about 8.30pm.

“Initial investigations suggest a fight occurred involving up to 20 people,” the statement read.

Officers arrested two people at the scene, and one person suffered minor injuries.

The 17-year-old Fraser Rise boy has since been released and is expected to be charged on summons for offenses including affray, criminal damage and assault.

An 18-year-old Williams Landing man has been charged with assault police and frightened.

He has been bailed to appear at the Werribee Magistrates Court on July 28.
