Ottawa has a new hot pink ice cream truck and you can buy frozen treats in the Glebe

There’s a new ice cream truck in Ottawa, and no, you won’t have to chase after it to grab a sweet treat. Beez Kneez is a pop-up ice cream restaurant run by Mexican restaurant Banditos, and you can find it in the Glebe near their tropical patio.

This hot pink truck full of frozen treats just opened for the season on May 13 and will be serving ice cream all summer long straight from the Kunstadt Sports parking lot on Bank Street.

From Wednesday to Sunday, this ice cream parlor will be open to taste dairy delicacies from noon until 8 p.m., and it will serve cones until mid-September.

Famous Ontario ice cream brand Kawartha Dairy will be on the menu, and they plan to serve a variety of flavors to see what fan favorites are.

“We’ll have every flavor we can get our hands on!” Beez Kneez told Narcity via Instagram.

If you are vegan or lactose intolerant, there will also be a vegan and dairy-free option on the menu.

They added plants and picnic tables to the parking lot to make the area look more like a fun summer vibe. Since the truck sits right in front of the restaurant patio and is also the starting point for the Thursty Pedaler party bike, you can easily add a frozen treat to your summer adventures.
