One person died after a head-on collision in Langley on Friday afternoon.

Langley RCMP say a driver of a 1932 Ford roadster collided with a Dodge Caravan around 4 p.m. on Grade Crescent in Langley.

The driver of the roadster was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Initial investigations suggest the roadster suddenly swerved and collided with the trailer. According to the RCMP, the driver may have suffered a medical problem.

The caravan driver was reportedly in shock but was not seriously injured. The road was closed for several hours during the investigation.
