macron: the French Macron invested for a second presidential term

PARIS: French President Emmanuel Macron was sworn in on Saturday for a second five-year term that will be clouded by immense challenges both internally and externally.
In a ceremony at the Elysee Palace, Macron was confirmed by the head of the Constitutional Council Laurent Fabius as the winner of the April presidential elections, then signed the official reinvestiture document.
His new five-year term does not begin immediately but only when his first officially expires at midnight on May 13.
