Here’s what’s open and closed in Regina on Victoria Day 2022 – Regina

All municipal offices in Regina will be closed Monday and will reopen Tuesday at 8 a.m.

Garbage, organic matter and recycling collections will continue as planned. For collection schedules and reminders, residents can download the Regina Waste Wizard app or visit the city’s website.

The landfill will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Entrance gates close at 6:45 p.m.

Regina’s transit service will operate on Sunday routes and schedules. The Transit Information Center and RIDELine will be closed.

The Transit Customer Service Center will be closed on Mondays but available by phone from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Paratransit services will operate according to the statutory holiday schedule from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The office at Riverside Memorial Park and Regina Cemeteries will remain closed but doors are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Parking meters are not in effect, so parking will be free for city parking meters.

The following recreation centers will be open:

  • The North West Leisure Center will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Hours of operation for the Sandra Schmirler Recreation Center are 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • The Regina Sportplex Fieldhouse & Lawson Aquatic Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
