ABU DHABI, May 7 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, visited the Entertainment Channel project at the waterfront and the National Aquarium in Abu Dhabi.

During his tour, His Highness inspected the various facilities of the project and commended their contribution to improving tourism offerings in the emirate of Abu Dhabi and diversifying entertainment destinations to ensure comfort and health. community members.

His Highness was accompanied during this visit by His Excellency Mohammed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, Saeed bin Omair bin Yousef Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Baraka Investment Holding, the company responsible for the development of the entertainment channel project, and Fouad Mishaal, CEO of the company.

Chairman of the Board of Al Baraka Investment Holding said: This project is among the largest and largest projects designed to support the vision of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi as one of the world’s most in the world providing a positive environment for living and diversifies the leisure options available to members of the community, and through this project we seek to improve the standard and quality of life in the emirate by providing various recreational, cultural , sports and community within an entertainment destination located on an area of ​​365,000 square feet.

He added: We are working on the development of a unique destination that will not only help support the tourism sector, but will also be a leading resort for entertainment, hiking and spending quality time with family members. and friends in the facilities, cafes and restaurants made available by the project.

The “Canal” project includes the largest aquarium of its kind in the Middle East, in addition to indoor and outdoor sports facilities, shops, restaurants, cafes, leisure facilities, a cinema hall and of a marina.
