Channel 9 has announced who will replace Cameron Williams after the popular presenter’s shock decision to step down.
Channel 9 has announced that James Bracey and Roz Kelly will serve as sports presenters for the network’s main newscasts.
The move comes after popular presenter Cameron Williams made the sudden decision to walk away from Nine after 12 years with the free broadcaster.
Nine also had to deal with Erin Molan’s decision last year to leave and take up a job at Sky News.
Nine announced on Saturday morning that Bracey would step into Williams’ place as weeknight 6 p.m. sports anchor on a permanent basis after having held the position since Williams’ departure in March.

Kelly will feature the sport during the Friday and Saturday bulletins.
Williams, 59, had disappeared from 9News in the weeks before her resignation in March.
He said at the time that he was leaving to focus on his health.
Follow-up reports claimed a “heated and angry” exchange with a Nine News executive may have triggered Williams’ decision.
In an email sent before his big news dropped, Williams told his Channel 9 colleagues “with a heavy heart” that he had decided to quit the network.
“Leaving News’ top team is tough and being part of this team is an honor,” he said.
“But I have struggled for years with increasingly poor health and I want to address that now for the sake of a bigger team, my family.”
Now Nine is moving on.
Bracey will step down as host of Sport Sunday but will continue working with the network’s NRL and Australian Open operations.
Kelly, meanwhile, takes over as presenter of Sport Sunday while continuing in her rugby and tennis roles.
Bracey said in Nine’s announcement: “Sport and Nine go hand in hand so I’m delighted to be joining the 9News team.
“I grew up admiring Ken Sutcliffe and his on-air relationship with Brian Henderson and Peter Overton. It’s surreal to find myself now in that same chair alongside Pete.
