A boy was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle on Thursday evening.
Toronto police said officers received the call around 6:30 p.m. in the area of Thorncliffe Drive and Overlea Boulevard.
Constable Alex Li told CityNews, “The driver remained at the scene following the collision, Toronto paramedics transported this patient to hospital via emergency rush.”

Li says the driver is cooperating with the police.
No further details about the victim have been released.
Some roads were closed in the area while police were on the scene for the investigation.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has information to contact them.
